My research interests are based on understanding the flow of energy and nutrients through ecosystems, particularly with respect to how anthropogenic impacts alter ecosystem function. Currently I am working in Bahamian mangrove estuaries focusing on two primary research questions:  1) How does habitat fragmentation affect nutrient cycling and lower order food web interactions,  2) How do fish movement patterns, both temporally and spatially, influence food web dynamics  and trophic structure.
